What this site does not do
k-jang.com has no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no comments, no login and no shopping basket. We ask you for nothing here, so there is nothing you send us through this site. No videos or maps are embedded either, which means simply opening a page loads no third-party content.
We set no cookies that recognise you. That is also why there is no cookie banner on this site: there would be nothing for you to consent to.
Server logs and hosting
This website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Opening a page unavoidably produces server logs: IP address, time, page requested, bytes transferred and user agent. They serve secure and stable operation and the defence against attacks, and they are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
The legal basis is Art 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating this website securely.
Cloudflare
The domain name service and the delivery of this site run through Cloudflare, Inc. In doing so, Cloudflare processes technical connection data from your browser in order to deliver requests and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so where data is transferred to the United States an adequacy decision of the European Commission applies.
Audience measurement
We measure how often each page is opened using Cloudflare Web Analytics. The method is cookieless: it sets no persistent identifier, builds no profile, and does not follow you across other websites. What is recorded is the page opened and technical values such as load time and browser type.
The legal basis is Art 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in measuring the use of this website in a data-minimising way.

This site consists largely of links: to koreanischkurs.com and its subdomains, to hyunokjang.com and janghyunok.com, to YouTube and to Amazon. The moment you follow one of them you leave k-jang.com, and the privacy notice of the site you land on applies. Until you click, nothing is loaded from any of them.
